She has presented “Drum Circles in your Class” workshops to school districts and universities all over the East Coast. She has also been on the teaching staff for Will Schmid’s World Music Drumming summer workshops. She loves working with many different types of circles; schools, retreats, eldercare, preschools, anywhere there are people that want to have a chance to find their rhythm and have fun.
Nellie is the President of the Drum Circle Facilitators Guild, an international professional organization for facilitators and served on the conference committee from 2006-2010.
Nellie believes that rhythm is the driving force of life. Circles come in many forms; circles for reflection, for healing, for community, for leadership, but most importantly for enjoyment. When your rhythm is off so is your life. Find your rhythm and enjoy the spirit!
