Simon's story

I am a therapist, and was working with drumming in my practice for several years before I discovered the VMC model and won a 'Churchill Fellowship' allowing me to attend a workshop in Hawaii in 2006. It was transformational and provided a unique pathway to extend the benefits of the work I was already doing into the broader community. Arthur's wealth of experience and focus on empowering participants to share their spirit in a safe and uplifting way was a combination that resonated with my therapeutic focus. I love the energy, the camaraderie and the inclusiveness that this form of music making offers.
