Most facilitators who purchase these sticks, use them for three things:
- this stick is a hardwood facilitator’s baton that is painted white for highest visibility;
- it is used as a bomba bell stick to play on large cow bells, to mark the pulse and do calls and responses;
- it is also used as a djun-djun stick to be played on large bass drums.
In addition to serving as a conductor’s baton, this stick is perfect for playing on a Facilitator’s bomba bell, a bass drum, or a West African Dunun.
