The Facilitators Rhythmical Alchemy Playshop (A FRAP!!)

The Facilitators Rhythmical Alchemy Playshop is Twist on the RAP (The Rhythmical Alchemy Playshop) for anyone who wants to fill their bag of tricks with new ideas, team building games and rhythm games to use in their programs.

We will playing and learning interactive rhythm games including lots of drum circle circle games.

This program is designed specifically for:

  • Recreational Drummers
  • Drum Circle Facilitators
  • Village Music Circle Facilitator Playshop Graduates
  • School Teachers
  • Music Therapists
  • Music Teachers
  • Corporate Trainers
  • and the like

This program will provide

  • Interactive Drum Circle games adaptable to all ages and situations.
  • Group Rhythm and Movement Play.
  • Ice-breaker Games using basic facilitation skills.
  • Vocal games and Theater improv.
  • Musical improvisation Experiences using a variety of instruments
  • Rhythm Church using pentatonicly tuned chimes & gongs
  • Found Sound Orchestra and Jug Band

We will be playing together a lot, but in a FRAP we will also take the time to focus on the adaptations & applications of those games to meet the needs of specific populations, age groups, special needs etc.

The Playshop, (And we do mean PLAY), will also include group ice breaker games, theater games, movement games, facilitation games, body music games as well as the famous Arthurian Alchemy games.

We will be doing anything that involves groups interacting together in a cooperative way to create a rhythm community while sharing their rhythmical spirit.

In other words we will PLAY TOGETHER! A LOT! Come & join us.
